Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, founded in 1972, reports decisions issued by all the state and federal courts in Massachusetts, as well as changes to court rules, verdict & settlement reports, bar-discipline notices and all other news vital to attorneys in the commonwealth.

In addition to reporting all decisions issued by the Supreme Judicial Court, the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly also covers hundreds of rulings from state and federal trial courts in Massachusetts, and state agencies like the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. And Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly now covers thousands of unpublished decisions from the Appeals Court - every ruling issued by the court.

Dave started at Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as the news editor in 1995 and was the editor from October 1996 to July 2000. Before joining Lawyers Weekly, he worked as a litigation associate at Shapiro, Israel & Weiner in Boston. Henriette Campagne
Henriette joined Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 1993 as special sections editor. She later was promoted to features editor and managing editor before being named editor of the newspaper in 2005. A journalism graduate of Northeastern University, Henriette previously worked as a legal assistant at Hale and Dorr, an editor at G.K. Hall & Co., and a reporter at the Daily Evening Item in Lynn. Paul E. Lamoureux, Esq.
Paul has been summarizing court opinions for Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly since 1979. Over that time, he has read and digested more than 40,000 court decisions. He is also the editor of the annual Reports of the Appellate Division of the District Court/Boston Municipal Court, which are published by Lawyers Weekly. In addition, Paul prepares Lawyers Weekly's acclaimed Daily E-Mail Alerts. Tom has summarized approximately 8,000 cases since joining Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 1993. He also contributes to the newspaper's second section by conducting interviews with judges for the Bench Conference series, and he prepares Lawyers Weekly's acclaimed Daily E-Mail Alerts. David E. Frank
David joined Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in June 2005. As a senior news reporter, he brings an intimate knowledge of the trial courts, which he honed as a career prosecutor prior to joining Lawyers Weekly. Most recently, David worked as an assistant district attorney in the gang unit in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to that, he worked in the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, notably working on the prosecution team that secured a murder conviction for Jacques Robidoux, the cult member charged with starving his one-year-old son. David currently co-hosts a sports radio program with Boston attorney Scott M. Gilefsky on AM 1510, “the Zone,” which is focused on legal and off-the-field issues that affect the world of sports. “Sports Court” airs on Sunday nights from 5 to 7 p.m. David is a 1997 graduate of Boston University School of Law and a 1994 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. Barbara Rabinovitz
As a senior news reporter, Barbara Rabinovitz brings her extensive journalism background to the Lawyers Weekly's news pages, and also to the Hearsay and Big Picture items she oversees. In addition, Barbara is the point person for Lawyers Weekly's new page on "The Practice," providing tips and more on running a law business. She started as a reporter in 1969 with the Boston Herald Traveler and, later, the Boston Herald American where she covered the State House, Boston City Hall, urban affairs and real estate development. In 1982, she became associate editor at Banker & Tradesman, a statewide weekly publication for the banking and real estate industries and related professions, and two years later she joined Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. In 1994, Barbara was invited back to Banker & Tradesman, this time as editor. In 1997, she became editor of The Jewish Advocate, a weekly newspaper for the Jewish community of Greater Boston and beyond. From 1998 to 2005, she served as public affairs officer for the federal courts of the 1st Circuit. Barbara earned a bachelor's degree in English from New York University and holds a master's degree in journalism from Boston University and a master's degree in public administration from the John F. Noah Schaffer
Noah, the former news editor of Worcester Magazine, joined the staff of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a reporter in February 2006. At Worcester Magazine, Noah wrote the political gossip column "Worcesteria" and oversaw the news section for which he wrote regular news, feature, investigative and arts stories. He has won 10 individual awards from the New England Press Association, including first-place honors for coverage of education, human interest, transportation and sports issues. He was the recipient of the group's "Rookie of the Year" award for 2003. Noah is a graduate of Clark University. Julia Reischel
Since earning her B.A. from Harvard University in 2004, Julia has worked as a reporter, a bookseller, an assistant public radio producer and a backpacking travel writer. She came to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in February 2008 from Boston's Weekly Dig, where she was a finalist for the New England Press Association's Reporter of the Year award in 2007. The year prior to that she was an award-winning staff writer at the New Times Broward/Palm Beach in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Her freelance work has appeared in Boston Magazine, The Village Voice, Exhibit A and the travel guides "Time Out" and "Let's Go." Alyssa Cutler
Alyssa came to Lawyers Weekly in June 2004 as an associate editor. Promoted to special sections editor in July 2006, Alyssa plans, coordinates and edits all the special sections for Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and Rhode Island Lawyers Weekly in addition to overseeing a number of other features that regularly appear in the papers. She graduated from Syracuse University in 2004 with a B.A. in English. Previously, she worked for two Boston-based magazines and a literary media firm. Art Director Terry Driscoll and graphic artists Victor Watch, Michelle Buckley, Amanda Ruppert, and Julie Donoghue make up Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly's production department, which works closely with the editorial and advertising departments to lay out each issue of the newspaper.
Amanda Ruppert also works on books, newsletters and many other publications; Julie Donoghue works on advertising, marketing and events materials.
